The Carlisle Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals showcases euro-classics to import sports cars and attracts all genres of attendees. Coupled with the largest kit car gathering in the nation, this event provides spectators with a multitude of activities for car clubs and families alike.

The Import weekend at the Carlisle fairgrounds in central Pennsylvania has been a staple event on the FLU calendar for many years. It’s sort of like the warm-weather kickoff event for FLU fans in the eastern USA, and we usually get upwards of 30 to as many as 50 cars in attendance from many different localities.  The Italian car show field is augmented by a tent under which visitors can share stories and enjoy their favorite beverages, and of course, there is the huge “”autojumble” (swap meet/flea market/vendor marketplace) that attracts vendors from all over the country.  Auto parts, car care supplies, tools, books and literature, models and collectables, performance items, and more….it’s all there from hundreds of sellers.

This year at Carlisle, we’ll surely be sharing ideas and making plans for the big 25th anniversary of Fiat FreakOut that will happen approximately two months later, so this might be the most important Carlisle gathering in recent memory!

It’s highly recommended that you pre-register on-line at http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/import/gate.asp.  A FREE tent will be provided for FLU if we pre-register a minimum number of members, so PLEASE pre-register and identify yourself as part of “Club Fiat-Lancia Unlimited” and/or the “Fiat/Italian Car Club.”

Club Challenge

Every year we get more clubs and the clubs themselves are growing – and that’s OK with us. In fact, we encourage it! There are plenty of import and kit shows that are dedicated to a particular make but at the Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals you can spend as much time as you like looking at your favorite brand of car and then feel free to wander and check out all of the others. It’s like getting several shows for the price of one! Saabs @ Carlisle has been the consistent winner of the Club Challenge for the last several years but they’re getting some competition these days. Last year they beat the Volvo Club of America by a very narrow margin and I know there is at least one other club gunning for the top spot this year. Let’s see if we can’t put our Italian cars in the club winner’s circle this year!
